Chapter 9

The survivors' journey towards the ruins of the Predator camp lasted for hours. Priscilla, Paige, the two women and the doctor walked with their weapons in their hands, following the young swordswoman, making her way through the tire tracks on the ground.

Everything remained too quiet for them. The birds were already flapping their wings more, the wind stopped blowing in the branches and the water was no longer flowing in the stream, because at that moment, the group entered Marlon's territory. They could see some bodies hanging from the trees in a deplorable state, with very thin and dry flesh, showing the bones and disfigured faces.

Alice was a little horrified to see that, but there were no signs of life. Priscilla cut the rope that tied the body to the tree by the neck, throwing it to the ground.

“He's dead, Alice.” Priscilla said, putting the sword back in its sword-carrier.

The adult woman felt a moment of relief. It couldn't hurt them in the state it was in. However, Christine knew that the body was familiar to her. Judging by the bullet hole in the chest and the hair that was still there, it was the boy who had been with her and Caesar during the zombie apocalypse and with whom she had spent her first time at the motel.

“Jackson.” the nurse said, her eyes almost filled with tears.

Hearing that, Priscilla turned to the blonde.

“Did you know him, Christine?” asked Alice.

“He was with me when we entered Predator territory. He was my teammate and… my boyfriend at the time.”

Alice felt sorry for her colleague. Knowing that the body belonged to the boy who had once loved Christine and had met a tragic end at the hands of Marlon. “I'm sorry, Christine.”

The nurse accepted Alice's condolences. Raj and Priscilla then expressed their condolences for her loss. Since Jackson's body showed no signs of life, it was unlikely that he would become a zombie and attack the survivors the moment they removed him and buried him with dignity.

////

Everything was calm about two hundred and ninety kilometers away from the group's position. Trees and plants covered the horizon, with the sun's rays illuminating them and a few sounds of birds and insects echoing among the branches.

The sound is quickly replaced by the sound of motorcycles, as the vehicles speed toward the survivors. Rudolf's men carry AK-47, Uzi, Skorpion, and SiG rifles, all loaded and ready to fire.

Next to them is Thomas, the man with the Pit Bull tattooed on his arm. He is leading this detachment to go after the survivors and eliminate them. His hands are firmly on the handlebars of his motorcycle, turning it to increase the speed of the vehicle.

////

Back at the survivors' location, Priscilla, Paige and the others stood in front of a freshly dug grave, close to the tree where they had found Jackson's body. Inside the grave was the boy who had only had a short time to live during the escape with Christine and Caesar from the Jungle Predators. His arms were crossed over his chest, already dead.

Then the survivors took portions of earth and threw them into the grave, covering the boy's body. Christine looked at the body being laid out in mourning, but knew that her moments with him would be remembered for the rest of her life.

As they threw more portions into the pit, Priscilla turned around. She heard something that caught her attention. To her horror, it was the sound of Thomas's group's motorcycles.

“Priscilla?” Paige called, seeing her friend stop for a moment. In an instant, she is taken by the warrior’s reactive gaze.

“Ambush!” Shouted the Number 2 warrior, calling the others. And out of nowhere, a motorcycle appeared from above, with the driver laughing. In addition to him, other motorcycles appeared to surround the survivors. Alice, Christine, Raj and Paige opened fire with their weapons, with only a few shots hitting them, knocking them from their vehicles. Others missed them because they were going too fast.

Priscilla, who in turn had her sword, managed to knock down a motorcyclist by hitting the front wheel, throwing the man forward with force, hitting a puddle of water.

The situation begins to change when the bikers arrive with guns. They open fire on the group, making them run in opposite directions. Alice and Christine found a small hill to hide from the shots, returning fire soon after. Paige tries to hide behind a tree, reloading her Marlin rifle under pressure. When she reaches it, she turns to shoot again, but the machine gun fire puts her under pressure.

Raj, seeing that the bikers were overwhelming the group and that his AK was out of ammunition, saw that there was nothing he could do but run for his life. He ran towards the exit to save himself, leaving Priscilla, Paige and the others to their own devices. During his escape, Raj didn't notice the cliff in front of him, and fell over in a misstep. He didn't suffer any serious injuries or sprained bones, but he did have some scratches on his face and arms.

When he stood up, he heard the sound of another motorcycle approaching. When he turned around, he saw a wooden baseball bat. At the tip of it, there were several nails twisted after several hammer blows, transforming the bat into a kind of primitive club. The raider delivered a direct blow to the doctor's head with such force and speed that he knocked the man to the ground, practically lifeless. His face and neck were covered in scratches, some nails stuck in and pieces of flesh torn by the blow. He spat out blood, coughing because his trachea was obstructed, and he stopped giving any signs of life in sequence. His left eye was protruding from the eye socket of his skull. Now, the group was composed only of women.

Back in the conflict, Alice, Paige and Christine were firing their weapons at the bandits who were arriving armed. Some fell to the ground, knocking their vehicles over with their weight. Priscilla cut another motorcycle in half, knocking the biker and passenger hard to the ground. And when she saw the other approaching from behind, the warrior jumped up, running over the man. The two looked at each other briefly. It was Thomas, the man with the Pit Bull tattoo. She saw the astonishment emanating from the biker's eyes.

After the jump, the warrior landed on the ground, her cape swinging until it fell. Thomas turned with the motorcycle. He took an Uzi from the holster, pointing it in the warrior's direction. Priscilla looked at the attacker with golden eyes from using her Yoki. In a gesture, she raised her left hand, moving her fingers together in a wave shape that dragged inward, signaling the man to come after her.

Thomas roared, accelerating his motorcycle towards Priscilla. With the gun in his hand, his finger pressed on the trigger, opening fire on her. The warrior held the sword in her hand, repelling the bullets with frantic movements. All he could see were sparks and pieces of projectile being shattered on the blade of metal unknown to this world. And with the man close enough to her, he was taken by another moment of fright. This time, Priscilla passed by him in slow steps, with the motorcycle spinning its tires at reduced speed. For the warrior, everything passed at a slow speed because she used her Yoki. Still carrying the sword in her hand, she struck Thomas in the neck. With the warrior turning to where her opponent was, she raised her sword, spilling a drop of blood on the blade. A few drops of red liquid leaked into the edge of the blade, leaving the place painted the same color.

And after time returned to normal, the biker's head was thrown up into the air, detached from his neck with violent force. Without it, the two lost their balance with the engine running, causing the vehicle to skid on the ground, colliding with a tree, breaking the main frame and the fuel tank. Priscilla's eyes returned to their silver color, with the use of Yoki ceased so she could recover from the frenzy before it exceeded ten percent. The other attackers retreated, seeing that their forces had dropped considerably. Paige and the others left their shelters as the storm of gunfire dissipated and the bikes took distance on the horizon.

Reunited, the girls spot the Organization warrior stained with blood.

“Priscilla.” Alice called. Then the girl shook her sword to the side, splashing a few drops onto the ground.

“I'm fine. I'm just not used to the idea of killing humans, even if it was for self-preservation.”

“I know how you feel, Priscilla. But we have to do everything we can if we want to survive in this strange world.” Paige replied.

“Yes. Even though Rimuto and the others will condemn me for this, I will do everything in my power to help you and rescue Mark and Andrew.”

Alice nodded, agreeing with the warrior's words. Before continuing their journey, they realized that one person was missing. The Indian doctor.

“Hey guys, have you seen Raj?” Christine asked.

“Wasn't he with you?” Priscilla asked, since he was with the others during the biker assault.

“He was. But after we got separated, I never saw him again.” Alice replied.

“Okay. Let's look for him and then we'll come back to…” said Priscilla, interrupted when she heard a voice coming from behind.

The women turned to look, and in their view was one of the bikers who had fallen into the puddle of water. He was recovering from the fall, with his vehicle destroyed.

“It's one of the bikers I took down,” Priscilla said, putting her sword back in its carrier. “He must know where the others are, and therefore your children.”

“I'll go to him and ask for information about Andrew and Mark.” The boys’ mother replied with the rifle in her hand. Before she could proceed, the warrior put her hand in front of her, preventing her from going with destructive intentions.

“Easy, Alice. If you go to him and let your anger and anguish speak for themselves, we might lose the chance to find them.”

“I'll go with you, Alice. We'll have a better chance of getting answers and not being caught off guard.” Christine said, joining the adult woman. Paige joined them both.

“Okay. I'll go look for Raj.” Priscilla said, then separated from the others.

With nothing else to say, the group split up for their respective objectives. Priscilla went behind while Paige, Alice and Christine went to the puddle. As the three of them headed towards that location, the man removed his helmet, revealing a white, wet face with a short beard, scars on his forehead and mouth. He had short brown hair and green eyes. His clothing consisted of a black jacket, white blouse, jeans and black leather gloves and boots. Luckily for them, he wasn't armed.

The biker shook out his jacket, removing a portion of the brown water. Turning his face forward, he saw several rifles pointed at him. In response, he raised his arms high.

“Alright. Alright. I yield.” The man replied to the group of women, giving a look of defeat mixed with a slight joy.

“Where are my children?!” Alice cried, raising her AK-47 and the barrel pointed at him.

“Children?” Then the man associated the two boys who were being held in custody by the boss, smiling sadistically. “Ahh, so those little ones are your children?”

Alice gave that man a serious look. At the same time, her anguish and resentment began to flow inside her.

“Those little ones? They're really hard to talk to. Not even with good hospitality or good methods of dealing with our guests.”

“When you say ‘guests’, you mean you keep them under total supervision, depriving them of their will to leave, just so your boss can get what he wants!” Christine replied, keeping her gun pointed at the biker.

Hearing the nurse's words, the man looked at her with some contempt. “You. I know you.”

Christine held the gun in her hands, holding tightly to the wooden part of the rifle and her finger close to the trigger.

“I was there the day we stopped your vehicle. I was the one who hung that little boy's body. I hung him so that later he could be an example to those who dare enter Predator territory. Just like Marlon did with his friends.”

The blonde's eyes were red with anger and sadness at those words. Christine could pull the trigger and open fire on that man with such a low way of treating his prisoners and victims. However, she didn't because she knew she needed him alive to find Andrew and Mark.

Then Paige intervened. “We don't want to hear about your history with Marlon or Christine's friends. We want you to tell us where you’re keeping Mark and Andrew.”

“What if I refuse to answer you? What are you going to do, babe?”

In response, Paige turned the Marlin rifle, striking the captured biker in the face with the butt of the rifle, turning his face to the left. When she saw their faces again, the man's mouth was dripping with blood and his right cheek was red from the blow.

“Say that one more time and we'll open fire on you!” Paige seriously replied.

“Okay. I get it. But if you do that, you'll miss out on finding those little ones.”

The three women remained on standby for another escape by the man from answering the main question.

“I'll tell you where they are. But you'll have to take me with you.” He said, smiling.

That answer relieved the boys' mother a little. However, this could be some kind of trick for them to fall for him and be subdued by Rudolf and his men. Afraid that he might catch them by surprise and take their weapons. Paige went ahead, taking the biker's hands and placing them behind him, securing them with a zip tie.

“You will come with us. But just because you will cooperate with us, does not mean we will trust you completely.”

“I understand you, sweetie. I really do.”

“And stop flirting with me!” Paige replied, angry at the biker's way of flirting or joking with her.

With the man being held hostage, Paige and Alice dragged him ahead, keeping their weapons ready and trained on him. Christine followed the others as the biker led the way to the exiles' camp.

Moving forward, the warrior appeared on the horizon, calling Paige and the others. Her expression was not very encouraging.

“Priscilla. What's wrong? Did you find Raj?” Paige asked.

The warrior closed her eyes, turning to show them her discovery. To their horror, the Indian doctor was lying on the ground, lifeless and with his face ruined after being struck by one of Rudolf's raiders.

Alice made a sound of horror, covering her mouth with her hand, Christine closed her eyes in sadness and Paige was in shock. The group was devastated to see the loss of an essential member for survival in a completely hostile world. The environment around them became dense and cruel, with only four women and a strange man left from a group of terrorists who tried to kill them.

////

Two minutes later, Rudolf's group of bikers returned to their hideout. What was left of them parked their vehicles, raising concern among the others. Their leader, hearing the sound of the bikes, interrupted Mark's interrogation to attend to them.

Walking up to a brown-skinned biker in a black jacket, steel rings with skull engravings, jeans, a black leather belt and a large steel buckle, the boss asked, “Not many came back. What happened?”

“Sir, the survivors were much more organized and well prepared at the time of the attack. We had casualties on our side. But they also lost one of theirs.” replied the biker.

“Where is Thomas?”

“We haven't heard from him. Apparently he's among those left behind.”

“I see. We cannot risk any more direct attacks with the limited number of men we have at our disposal.” said the leader of the Predators, turning away for a moment, placing his left hand on his chin. “Taking those children awakened a fury in them that we never expected to face.”

The brown man remained in his position as he watched the cruel man thinking about the current situation.

“Notify the others to be on standby and open fire on anyone who enters our territory. Even if it means killing one of our own.”

“Sir?” One of the bikers asked.

“You heard me. If there are any survivors, whether it be Marlon or one of my men, I cannot risk them coming here. They could be used as a means of luring those women who managed to escape from that cabin. And I will not tolerate any act of treason from my former employees. You have my orders. Carry them out!”

Without questioning Rudolf, the men continued to their posts, informing the others of this decision. Rudolf himself returned to the interrogation of Alice's youngest son. Entering, his doctor followed the development of the search for the answers extracted with the truth serum. Mark cried in pain as he told everything he knew.

Rudolf approached the boy. He placed his hand on his right shoulder, looking as if he wanted to calm the panicked ferret.

“You know, out of all my guests, you seem to have been the easiest to calm down and cooperate with us. I know the beginning was difficult.”

“Please… I… I can't take it anymore… I want to go home.  I want to be with… my… mother.” said young Mark, crying while he was still strapped into the chair and the serum was pumping through his veins.

“I know you want to go home and be with your mommy.” In an instant, Rudolf's temperament suddenly changed. “I just need you to tell me, who destroyed the camp that was rightfully mine?!” As an act, he hit the table hard, scaring the boy.

“Tell me who did that and maybe I can let you go from this suffering.”

“M-my name is… Mark. I… I came with… my mother and… my brother.”

“Yes. I know you came with your mother and your brother. And what else?”

“We… we ran away from the… from the zombies.”

“Yes. I also know about the zombies that ruined our lives. Or even brought good things to us. But that's not enough.”

“We-we were found by… Pr-Priscilla and… Paige.”

“It must be the girls who were with them when they were held prisoner by Marlon,” said Rudolf with a serious look.

“Yes. Mark talked about these names a lot over several sessions.” added the Caucasian clinician, with dark gray hair and civilian clothes.

“Yes. But we still don't have the direct answer to what we want, Stanley.”

Rudolf turned to Mark, placing his hands on the arms of the chair.

“Mark, tell us what was the last thing you remember about the day you managed to escape Marlon's camp.”

Mark tried to remember that night when he, Andrew, their mother, Priscilla, Paige, Raj and Daniel fled from the Predators. Many images were too blurry to remember properly. It could be one of the effects of the drug, which messed with his mind a lot, leaving him disoriented and confused.

“I… I only see… my mom, my brother, Paige, Priscilla,... Raj and Daniel.”

“Right. And what else can you remember?” Rudolf asked, pressing his hands against the arms of the chair.

“I remember that… we ran away. The bad men… chased us. And…” Mark said, trying to remember that day. However, it was getting difficult to visualize the images. But the remarkable events were, the mother being shot, Paige being beaten by Marlon until she was almost killed, being saved by Priscilla after killing the leader of the Predators. “…mom got shot, Paige almost got killed by Marlon… and then, Priscilla saved us. That's all I can remember.”

“But there was no fire when you fled the camp? Answer me, boy!” shouted Rudolf.

The voice made the boy even more nervous, crying more. “I… I don't remember. I… I want to go home.”

Rudolf sighed in dissatisfaction. However, he moved away from the chair to go towards Stanley, his doctor.

“What do you think, doc?”

“Sir, the boy told everything he knew. There's no way to tell if he was lying or not. Besides, we can't even know if they were the ones who burned the camp.”

“Whoever did it will pay dearly for this. And I will see the face of whoever did it so I can shoot him in the head.”

“What about the other boy? Do you intend to do the same to him?”

“No. That one proved more difficult to cooperate after several torture sessions. But they still have some interest in helping us.”

Rudolf's eyes flashed with a sinister plan to get Alice's two boys involved in the game. He walked over to Mark, placing his right hand on the boy's shoulder. Tears were still streaming down his face, but he wasn't crying out of pain this time, he was just scared.

“Boy, I want to ask you a favor and I hope you're willing to do it.”

Mark's eyes widened in fear and terror. The cold and cruel man, just as he was about to speak, the door closed with the three of them and another guard inside the cabin.

////

Two hours after the bikers' attack, the survivors were standing in front of a mound of earth near the place where they had found Raj's body. It seems that they had buried the Indian doctor, leaving only a mark on the tree, which read: “Here lies Raj. Doctor and survivor.” Although it was small and not very rustic, it was possible to make out what was written.

Priscilla, Paige, Christine and Alice mourned and paid their respects for the doctor's deeds in helping the young sniper, the other survivors who were being held captive by the Predators and the group after the escape. As a final gesture, they left a wreath of wildflowers on the grave that they had managed to find to make one. Without saying anything else, they approached the prisoner sitting on a tree trunk, asking him to show them the way to Rudolf's camp.

Alice and Christine kept their guns trained on the biker, while Paige pushed the man to speed up his pace in case he stumbled or slacked off. Priscilla stayed behind the others to keep the rear protected, brandishing the Claymore sword in her hand.

The scenario seemed a bit ripe for another trap. Few sounds echoed around them, with a loon emitting its characteristic howl through the trees. The leaves remained still due to the lack of wind and there were no other animals in the area that could show danger or not.

As they walked, the biker turned to Priscilla. Seeing her carrying the heavy sword with one hand, he had the impression that she was no ordinary person.

“Hey girl, you've got a way with that sword.” he said, smiling slightly.

Hearing that, the swordswoman showed no interest in talking. She continued her journey on foot, without being carried away by distractions.

“Are there others like you in this world?”

With that said, Priscilla replied, “Why do you want to know?”

“You know, watching you in action after our assault, I can't help but wonder if there are others like you, with powers no one else could ever dream of having.”

“If you knew our origin or the origin of my powers, you would think twice about giving them up.” replied the warrior. Paige and the others were a little uncomfortable with the way the conversation was unfolding.

“Why?” the man asked, curious about why Priscilla had said that. “Something you didn't like about them doing...” When it was about to finish, Priscilla extended the tip of the sword towards the face, stopping everyone in place.

“If I were you, I would shut your mouth and follow our orders if you want to continue living!” ordered the warrior with her sword raised at the man. Paige, Alice and Christine kept their weapons pointed at him, along with their colleague.

“Fine. I get it, lass. I'll shut my mouth.” He replied with a submissive air. Paige and the others made him walk with a rifle butt.

The journey was already difficult in the previous situation, with the man speaking in a way that intended to provoke one of them, making the journey more tortuous and boring. Alice thought deeply about her children, worried about their well-being and that they had not suffered any harm at the hands of the evil men.

////

After an hour and a half, the group arrived in the vicinity of Rudolf's camp. The view was filled with trees, monitoring towers, and wooden huts with thatched roofs.

“It is over there, ladies.” The man pointed with his face. “That's our hiding place.”

Seeing that, the sniper visualized it with the scope from her Marlin rifle.

“There are several armed men in those towers. It's going to be difficult to get in the front door without starting shooting.” Paige said as she looked through the scope. Most of them carried AK-47s and copies of Chinese, Czech, Arabic and Vietnamese origin. And indeed she was right about the part about entering the camp without causing a ruckus to draw the attention of the guards, or getting past the entrance.

“There is another way to get in without being noticed.”

The girls' faces turned to him upon hearing that. “How?” Paige asked, lowering her rifle.

“The vegetation and trees around the camp make it difficult for the guards in the towers to see us. We can use this to our advantage.” pointed out the captured biker.

Paige raised her rifle toward the trees surrounding the cabins and towers. There weren't many guards monitoring the area above, with a few patrolling below. And with the vegetation a bit tall, it might be advantageous for the group to get in without any trouble.

“You're right. Those trees and plants can help us. We can sneak through them and get into the camp to look for Mark and Andrew.”

“And get them out of there.” Alice said, completing her colleague's speech.

“Yes. Getting in is easy. Getting out will be the tough situation we'll face.” said Priscilla regarding how they will be able to get out after rescuing the boys.

“But you have your sword and those superhuman powers can get you out of this mess.” The man said to the Organization's Number 2, believing her to be some heroic comic book character.

“Yeah, but I'm not a comic book heroine. I'm a warrior from the Organization. And if I'm not careful, my powers could turn me into something terrible.”

“Yes. And she talks a lot about this consequence of using her powers too much.” Paige completed.

“Got it. So we're in a very difficult situation.” The man replied with a serious look, nodding his head to agree with them.

“Anyway, we have to get my kids out of there!” Said Alice, determined to act.

Seeing the boys' mother getting up, Paige, Priscilla, and the others agreed to follow her through the vegetation to the camp. Their prisoner continued with the group, leading the way to the center of the camp.

////

The group of survivors, consisting of the women and the prisoner, took the path to the right. They continued through the bushes, sneaking around so as not to attract the attention of the guards. The bushes and trees helped to cover the group, decreasing the chances of being spotted and killed by enemy firearms.

Rudolf's men stationed in the tower had no idea they were being invaded by the survivors. Nor did the patrolling guards notice their presence.

The group stopped momentarily, thinking they heard footsteps of one of the AK-wielding men approaching to meet the survivors. Looking around them, Paige, Priscilla, and the others noticed that no sign of a guard alerted to their presence had appeared, so they were able to move on.

Then they enter the courtyard. To their surprise, it is empty. No sign of Rudolf's men or their leader himself. Much less Mark and Andrew. There are only wooden cabins, some supply crates and motorcycles. The same ones used by the Predators to ambush the group.

“This place is empty,” said Alice. “Are you sure this is where my children are?”

“I'm sure of it.” The biker who accompanied the group replied. “They might be out hunting or setting fire to wooden cabins like yours.”

Paige sighed in discomfort at hearing that. “Anyway, we need to look for the boys as soon as possible. If we stay here any longer, we run the risk of being discovered by those bad guys.”

“Paige's right. We need to search these cabins for them before we're discovered. And I don't want to go through another season of hard labor or worse.” Alice agreed. Christine seconded her comment.

“Okay. Let's split into pairs to go faster.” said Priscilla, splitting the group into pairs, even though there were five of them. “Paige, you and Christine go one way while Alice and I go the other.”

“What about me?” called the biker with his hands tied by the zip tie.

“You are coming with us.” replied the warrior with the sword in her hand. “And see if you can keep your mouth shut to avoid drawing their attention.”

“No problem, girl. I won't say a peep.”

Unanimously decided, the group split up to search the cabins for Mark and Andrew. The women knew they had to act quickly before Rudolf or his men came to catch them and capture them to do his dirty work or be befallen by something terrible.

Priscilla and Alice went from one cabin to the other, taking the biker with them. They looked around the living room and bedroom for any sign of the boys. Unfortunately, there was nothing. Then they continued on to the next wooden building.

Paige and Christine also had the same result as the others. No sign of Mark or Andrew in the rooms.

“No sign of the boys around here.” Paige said with a frustrated expression. She turned to the nurse standing next to her. “Any luck out there, Christine?”

“Nothing. They're not here.”

“I imagine the others had the same result as us.”

Christine reunited with her colleague, maintaining the assault rifle in hand. “The only way is to get together with the others and look for the boys as far as we can.”

“Yes.” concluded Paige.

With that said, the two girls prepared to leave that place to meet with Alice, Priscilla and the biker.

////

Outside, the two groups reunite empty-handed. They spent seven minutes searching those cabins. Only to find nothing.

“It's no use. We looked in all the cabins and no sign of the boys.” Paige said.

“We cannot lose heart. We have to look for my children!” said Alice, still resolute.

“But how? If we've already looked at all of them and so far nothing.”

“Have you looked at all of them?” said the biker's voice.

Priscilla and the others looked at him with a surprised expression. “What do you mean?”

“At the back of the camp, there is the chief's cabin. It is hidden among those trees.” he replied, turning his face to the left.

With that said, the women looked at the place he had pointed out. It was barely visible, but there was a structure identical to the ones they had searched. It was partially covered by the leaves and branches of the trees.

“See? That is where those little ones are being kept.” the man replied, keeping his gaze on that place.

“Impressive.” said Priscilla with a serious and slightly surprised look.

“Well. For a cruel guy like him, your boss knows how to hide things pretty well.” said the girl with the Marlin rifle.

“He's good at it. So good that he brags about having more brains than Marlon.”

“Either way, we need to hurry and find Mark and Andrew before it's too late for us,” said Paige.

The group headed to Rudolf's cabin. The situation became more tense as they continued towards that place with the intention of rescuing the two boys and leaving as soon as possible. Alice stared at that place. She kept the AK rifle in her hands, shaking it as she ran to look for her children.

“Mark! Andrew! We are coming!”

Everything seemed calm on the one hand, although the tendency to get difficult was high. The biker ran with the women towards the cabin, even though he couldn't stand for long. However, something caught the group's attention to the point of stopping. A sniper rifle shot came from the top of a tower, hitting the dirt floor in front of Paige. The shot made her and the others stop.

Their hearts were beating rapidly due to the adrenaline rush caused by the shock. Seeing a bullet graze them before hitting anyone was unexpected. And to make matters worse, the leader of the remaining Predators appeared with the dark-skinned biker, the other men who had attacked the group, and the other armed men. The guards patrolling the entrance gathered to surround the survivors. Rudolf smiled when he saw them gathered together.

“So you managed to survive my men, just to get here. I'm impressed.”

Priscilla, Paige, Christine and Alice remained silent, staring at the leader of the Predators with a serious look. However, the situation for them was very complicated with several weapons pointed at them.
