Description:

The Two Survivors is a fan comic and book series, created by Antony Bindilatti and in suggestion and in partnership with Priscilla2Warrior, also known as Priscilla McGee. The series brings together different stories from the characters from famous series such as Claymore (trademark of Norihiro Yagi and Madhouse Studio) and The Walking Dead (Robert Kirkman and Telltales Games by The Walking Dead: Michonne), all focusing on some journeys, some action. and some fun with your favorite characters (and some less).

The story focuses on two young girls: Priscilla and Paige. Priscilla is a newly formed Organization warrior after taking her place as Number 2, and Paige is one of the survivors after a zombie apocalypse devastated Georgia and turned victims into Walkers.

And when the two survivors meet, a long, tireless journey begins and they will have to fight to survive.

Chapter 1

No one knows for sure where the Walkers emerged. Or how they came about. But many already know that they emerged from the moment their victims become infected through injury to their claws or bites, making their journey to oblivion irreversible. Those who have managed to escape this end are either missing or have fled far away. And it is not known where they might have gone. And who they were with at the moment of their escape.

It all started in a town near Atlanta, Georgia. Two ambulances arrived with several people, most of them doctors and nurses. They brought some others on stretchers to meet them. And one of them was a young girl with dark blond hair. There was a closed bandage on her chest. Apparently she was shot and being rushed, but the cause of that unfortunate event was uncertain. The doctors applied oxygen to her breathing until she was attended to and able to stand up again.

“Her vital signs are diminishing!” called a young nurse as she helped her team transporting the wounded girl.

“Let's go! Otherwise we will lose her!” rushed the doctor.

They rushed with her transportation to the surgical operating room. The girl struggled for survival on the stretcher while the mask provided oxygen to keep her vital functions active.

With the doors open, they entered with the girl on the stretcher and moved to the table with no time to waste, relocating her for surgery.

At the surgical room, the doctors opened the wound to extract the bullet from her chest and then closed it with sutures. Her vital signs stabilized during surgery, but nerve activity was sedated by the effects of general anesthesia. That way she will be unconscious for a while.

One of the nurses handed the surgeon a container to deposit the extracted bullet. Then he puts it on the table outside. Now they were preparing to close the wound. With the needle going in and out of the skin to close it, they would complete the surgery. At the last pass with the surgical instrument, he cuts to close the suture.

“Done. She can live well now that the bullet has been removed from her body.” informed the surgeon. As he walked to his team, everyone was about to put her in another room where she would rest until she is discharged.

“Poor girl.” said the nurse on the right. “What happened to her to be shot like that?”

“Apparently someone must have lost control of their sanity and shot her.”

“And her family? We need to contact them to inform them of her condition.” asked one of the nurses.

“Do it.” ordered the surgeon.

“Right. And does anyone know her name?”

“Paige.” he answered.

The nurse who asked about Paige's family would go to the operator to request a call and inform someone who is related or known to the girl about her condition. Meanwhile, another doctor ran to the team. From the state, he was panting and scared.

“Sir, we have an emergency at room number 45 and it's one of the most serious.”

Hearing that, the surgeon and staff went to the place told by the frightened doctor and attended to who was there as a patient. They ran with their equipment prepared to attend to those patients. And to the astonishment of the others, the situation began to change for the worse.

“What it this?”

Two patients who were brought in with severe health conditions showed strange signs of illness. One of them had a bloody mouth, and the other was pale and around the eyes were dark.

Without delay, the medical staff went to serve them. The chief went to check the eyes of each patient in their beds. One after another he was amazed to see that one of them was a pale color. The other had a yellowish tinge.

“What happened to them?”

“They… they got here like that. We did some tests, but after that they… they started to lose consciousness.” answered the doctor who called the team, describing the situation in which the two were brought.

“Consciousness? In what sense?”

“They… they began to struggle, to squirm, to act strangely. As if they were no longer human.”

“Sir, I heard about a case that happened in a hospital where some people started acting weird, just like he said.” said the nurse attending the sick from the first bed.

“Are you saying these people were infected by some kind of virus which we don't know about?”

“That's what it seems to be.”

The surgeon looked sideways at the situation and then resumed his attention on the sick.

“Isolate most of these people from others in specific rooms. We will see what we can do to try to alleviate this situation.”

Hearing his order, the medical team was preparing to isolate all patients and distinguish those infected from those who are healthy. When she was about to move, the patient splashed blood on her face, blinding her for a moment. The surgeon and the doctor came to her rescue from the patient's sudden reaction, and in an instant the show of horrors was about to begin. He was bitten by it and one of the doctors screamed in terror.

After that event, things began to change ominously at the hospital where Paige was. The surgeon who attended her and the blood-infected nurse succumbed to their same virus and mysteriously died of vital breakdown. Other doctors tried to help them, as did those brought in from other parts of Georgia, but they slowly disappeared. And those who were left in the hospital morgue after death had their bodies revived and began to wander at random in the facility and on the streets.

 ////

Days have passed. All that remained of the place were only echoes created by the screams of terror from the patients, doctors and staff. There was nothing left but wreckage, misplaced floors, bodies and windows, some open, some closed and broken.

And in the only room that remained closed, the devices were still in operation to keep a single survivor in the hospital. She opened her eyes slowly, recovering from long sleep through anesthesia.

“Uh… what… what happened?” said Paige as she recovered.

Looking around, there was no one that could attend her.

“Hello. Anybody here?” she called. No answer from who could be there. And on the left side, there was an IV tube attached to her vein. She wore a hospital gown and carried no other clothes underneath except a few bandages that covered the sutures.

Rising, she left the bedroom bed for help. On the way, she removed the needle in her arm and plugged it in case of sudden removal and causing a bleed.

“What happened here? Why didn't the doctors come here to wake me up? I need to get out of here.”

Walking to the door, she noticed that it was locked outside. Seeing that the key was in the doorknob, but outside, she had to break the glass with the chamber pot in her room and unlock the door to get out.

Leaving, she watches the empty corridors of the hospital. That scared the young girl. She walked again looking for someone. Looking through the glass in the other rooms, Paige notices that some curtains are torn, scratches on the wall and even blood scattered.

Either the service here was a bit chaotic, or something bad happened while I was unconscious.” Paige thought about the ruined rooms.

Crossing the room into the other rooms, such as surgery, radiography, and others, Paige finds countless things on the floor about to leave her horrified. In answer to her questions as to why the doctors were not attending to her, her eyes widened and she covered her mouth as she saw bodies of dead people lying on the floor. Some intact, others with exposed or torn regions.

“What the fuck happened here?! Was this some kind of slaughter?!”

Doctors, nurses, patients, visitors, anyone in that corridor were cruelly attacked by infected people. She almost gave in to her shock and horror of seeing them on the floor like that. But since she had to leave the hospital, her only way was to get through them.

She walked through the bodies, step after step, to reach the other side and reach the next corridor she could see. Paige felt chills as she stepped on the floor and bumped into some body parts. Her heart pounded to try to pass and not suffer any unhappiness that would happen to her. And when she managed to cross that corridor, she sighed with relief.

“Good thing nothing happened to get through that. God, I need to get out of here.” she said as she shifted her attention forward.

Once again, she proceeds toward the exit. This place could offer her nothing but the bodies of doctors and patients. The first thing that came to mind was whether there is anyone who is alive to ask what happened at this time when she was unconscious and to be able to count on help to get out.

Paige heads to a room of the hospital that had two elevator doors. One of the main means of escape. However, there was one thing blocking her way to the elevators. Something that could not be described as alive or dead.

What is that thing?!” she thought.

It was one of the hospital attendants by the uniform. But part of his clothes were stained with blood, his hands were red and the color of his skin was pale. To Paige's horror, the undead creature was crouching, feeding on a nearby body. She was one of the nurses who participated in the operation that extracted the bullet from her body. The creature was almost close to the elevator, which would make it difficult for Paige to escape.

She turned her gaze away from the discomfort and fear of seeing it, even feeding on the poor woman's dead body. Suddenly she notices a ladder sign on the right side. That would give Paige a chance to escape. But it was a little far from the main room in which it was.

She looked back at the butcher zombie to make sure he didn't sense her presence, and then thought it best to sneak up the stairs. Always keeping her gaze on the zombie to make sure it wouldn't come on her.

Slowly, step after step, Paige walked carefully so as not to attract his attention. For now, the zombie was still feeding on that body, unaware of Paige's presence and being able to attack her. The human girl walked in light steps to reach the safe staircase.

However, to her bad news, the creature sensed her through her scent. When Paige realized she had been detected, her only option was to run in case the zombie's eyes were fixed on her. And that's what happened.

“Shit!” she shouted as she started running away from the zombie behind her.

Paige ran for the staircase door. Now that the stealthy maneuver has been scrapped by the zombie's smell and there is nothing that could help her slow her chaser, her only option is to reach the stairs and escape from this place.

The zombie ran after Paige. His movement was good, but awkward enough to slip on the floor and get up slowly. This gave Paige a chance to escape and reach the door.

With her hands on the doorknob, she went to open the door. However, it seemed that it didn't open accordingly. It is not known if it was fear that made it difficult for Paige to open the door or if the doorknob was too hard to open. In any case, Paige was having a hard time pulling it.

“Come on! Open the door!” she exclaimed as she tried to open the door.

When she sensed that the undead was approaching her, she forced the doorknob to open and escape this nightmare.

“Open the door, now! I don't want to die!”

In an instant Paige heard a “Clack” sound from that object. Finally, the door opened, giving her a chance to enter and take shelter. Seeing the zombie advancing with its hands forward, it immediately closed and hit the fingers of his left hand. The impact ripped them off, leaving the zombie temporarily incapacitated.

Paige kept the door closed for a long time. Long enough for the zombie to give her up. The girl sat on the floor scared and distressed. She had no idea that some people in this hospital could become zombies and attack the others. That question that went through her mind: What happened here while I was unconscious? What was that creature? Am I alone in this shattered world? What about my family? Has anyone survived this apocalypse? These were the kinds of questions that only explore the unfamiliar world for her to discover.

Rising again, Paige proceeds to the exit downstairs. Afraid that there will be others like this one, she walked slowly and with greater caution. Even though she was barefoot and the ground seemed to be cold, she continued on to the exit.

I have to get out of here. It is the only way to survive this world.” she thought as she descended the stairs.

 ////

Reaching the exit door, Paige put her hand on the doorknob and slowly opened it. It was to avoid going out and catching the attention of any zombies in the next room. The girl had a feeling of hearing the lock mechanisms opening and could push the door open. In an instant she goes on.

With a slight step forward, the survivor enters the waiting room on the floor below. Unlike the other, there were no zombie signs that could ambush her. However, it looked less frightening because of the bodies and blood scattered throughout the room. Paige was looking around the room to make sure she was safe. Certified that there are no zombies around, she decides to move on.

In one of the doors she passed, she spotted several stoves, refrigerators, some overturned pans, and open cabinets. You could tell it was a hospital kitchen and there might be something to feed on.

Entering, she rummaged through the furniture for food. Most of the foods found were canned or frozen, which for immediate consumption would be inadvisable. And because of the few electricity generators operating in the city, the only way would be with traditional cooking methods.

 ////

A few seconds have passed since Paige entered the kitchen. She ate the fried chicken she could find. Meat, vegetables, and cereals were scarce, but the industrialized had more than enough to survive. Water was also an essential resource for survival, but finding potable sources is also a challenge in this inhospitable world.

When she ate the next piece of chicken, she remembered the time her family had neglected her. Their faces were turned to the side, ignoring her presence as if she were ‘nothing'. This caused her self-esteem to decline to the point that she carried it all her life. From the time when all this had not happened, from the zombie apocalypse, Paige came to live with Samantha Fairbanks' parents, who gradually became part of the family.

Whether the Fairbanks are still alive is unknown, but since she was in a hospital somewhere far from their home, she needed to find a way to cross the streets of this city and face any danger.

Sam, I imagine you are still here in this city. Hold on, I'll find you. And together, let's get out of here.” she thought as she chewed the last piece of chicken.

 ////

With her strength recovered, Paige gets up from the floor and decides to go out the same door she used to enter the kitchen. Things seemed peaceful after that first upstairs zombie that almost caught her. However, it has a certain tendency to get worse if she commits a mistake.

Stepping out the door, she feels something grabbing her mouth and pull her into the hallway. Before she could react, the assailant asked her to be quiet as he aimed a TT-33 pistol at her face.

“Calm down, cutie face. I just came to get some food.” said the man who kept Paige in custody. “Besides, I have no plans to stay here in this cursed, zombie-infested place.”

She might scream for help, but it would do no good if she attracted other zombies like that man had said, besides there was no one Paige knew or couldn't help her get rid of. The only way was to obey him.

While he held Paige hostage, he glanced sideways, hoping he could move into the kitchen. Both the left and right sides were quiet and empty. No sign of zombies. Relieved by that, he releases the girl's mouth but keeps the gun pointed at her head.

“Who are you?!” Paige demanded as she asked his name.

“My name matters little to me now. After all, you will only have seen my face once.”

“Right. If you don't want to tell me your name, at least can I know what's going on?”

“I just know that a strange disease has started to spread through this place and everyone has gone mad. Some people died and out of nowhere they came back to life. Well, ‘to life' as walking corpses, feeding on other people.”

“Walking corpses? Just like the one who…” said Paige as she was interrupted by him.

Feeling that something was about to change the situation on this floor, he began dragging her into the kitchen. Opening the doors, the man pushed his hostage to the floor.

Paige felt her chest hurt a little from the impact on the floor. Turning, she noticed that the burglar was locking the doors with the key to isolate them from imminent danger, and then pulled it from the doorknob.

“Hey! Watch out! I'm barely healed after surgery!” exclaimed Paige as she kept her gaze on her ambusher.

“Listen, I don't care about your situation. What I want is to get out of here. No way if I think to stay here with these zombies.”

“In case you don't know, I want to get out of here too. My family is out there and I need to find her.”

“By now, they must be dead. Either they became food, or one of them.”

Those words left her on the brink of distress. As much as her parents had neglected her, Paige still cared about them. She wanted to give him a punch in the face for saying that, but nothing would benefit her. Although he carried the Tokarev TT-33 – a Soviet-made pistol, this was a disadvantage if he pulls the trigger against her head. As her only answer, she had to adopt a passive posture.

Meanwhile, the man was going with his bag to the fridge and cupboards to pick up the food stored in this hospital. Most of the food collected consisted of canned goods and water bottles that were placed in the bag, with some of the leftover fried chicken.

Paige looked at him with some distaste. The moment he pulled the chicken out of the fridge, she eventually called him.

“What now?!” he asked.

“The chicken. Can I at least have it?”

“What, this? No way. I want to make the most of the varieties.”

“It turns out it's overdue.” she blackmailed him in order to provoke him.

Hearing what she said about the chicken being expired made him mad at the hostage. Looking at it, there seemed no sign of mold or anything that could not be consumed.

“Do you think I'm a jerk or what?!”

“I just want to get out of here. As you said, it will be the only time we will see each other as soon as we go our separate ways.”

The burglar approached her after leaving the chicken on the table. With the pistol in hand, the situation for Paige could get worse than it already was.

“On second thought, you're right about that. But it turns out you'll be leaving well before me.” he answered aggressively as he raised his weapon.

Paige's eyes widened in fear. The barrel of the pistol was aimed straight into her face, ready to launch the first bullet and go through her skull.

“And I'm not interested in taking advantage of what you have before I'm satisfied. Your death will be enough before I get out of this shitty hospital.”

She has barely woken up after bullet removal surgery on her chest and is about to receive another one. One that will make her sleep forever. However, before he can pull the trigger, they hear the sound of trawlers on a metal surface. Looking around the kitchen, the sound grew louder until it was evident through the pipe.

And when they glanced at the ventilation grille, it was thrown out, revealing another zombie. This scared the robber.

“Ah, shit!” he exclaimed, seeing that undead creature walking towards them.

Paige was terrified of this situation. She ran to open the door to escape, then realized that it was locked. While she was about to unlock it, she called the robber who took care of the zombie.

“Please, I need your key!”

“Not until I take care of this freak!” he replied, pointing at the zombie and pressing his finger on the trigger. That done, the bullet went through his skull.

He believed one bullet would be enough, but the creature demonstrated that it was resistant to a TT-33 fire. He fired again, but nothing worked. Just left the zombie stoked to advance on it.

“Why doesn't this fucker die?!”

“Hey! I hope you're not too busy to kill that zombie!” Paige called as she tried to unlock the door.

The man shooting the zombie stopped for a moment and ran to help her. He took the key out of his pocket and inserted it in the lock to unlock the door. He turned the key quickly as he looked at the approaching zombie.

Hurry!” he thought.

In an instant, they heard the sound of “Clack” coming from the lock. That was enough to get them out of the kitchen. Opening the doors, Paige and the bandit escaped from the zombie. Yet, before he could leave the kitchen, the man noticed his purse still being on the kitchen table. The bag he used to store his food.

The zombie did not move so fast to reach them, which gave the assailant a certain advantage for a dangerous attitude. And as an act, he went after it to retrieve it and leave for good. Paige saw what he was about to do and tried to call him.

“Hey! What are you doing?!”

“I need my purse. Without it, I would not survive.” he replied as he shot the zombie several times to incapacitate him.

“Forget it! Let's get out of here!” insisted the young Paige.

“No fucking way!”

Paige was looking at him, heading for the bag and shooting the zombie. In the last shot, the creature fell to the ground. As a precaution, the burglar would pull the trigger to see if there was any bullet left in the magazine, and by the sound of clicks, his TT-33 was discharged. What was left was to get his purse and leave the kitchen.

However, when the situation seemed under control, he heard various sounds coming from the same place as it appeared. Grunting sounds and creeping footsteps in the ventilation duct. And to Paige's and man's astonishment, countless zombies were emerging.

“Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!” shouted the man after reloading his gun and fired at the coming zombies.

There were too many for an armed person to handle. And as he fired, his weapon's magazine emptied quickly enough to leave him helpless against that horde.

Picking up his bag, he ran to the door to escape for good. On his escape, the man had hoped to leave the infested hospital and find shelter far from here. But, he felt something catch in his leg and pulled him to the point of knocking him over.

“No! Let me go, you motherfuckers!” he shouted as he was being pulled by the zombies.

One thing was certain he had said to Paige. This would be the only time she saw his face. And seeing that scene where the zombies devoured the assailant's flesh would make her terrified for the rest of her life.

“No! No! NOOOOOOOOO!!!” he shouted as he was devoured by the zombies.

Paige was startled to see everything, and unable to help him, ran out of the door. Alone as before, she would have to find a way to escape this place. Her hand wiped away the tears that fell from her eyes at the fright she took from the scene of the man being eaten alive by the zombies.

I have to get out of here!

 ////

As she rushed into another room, Paige was oblivious to the other directions of her gaze that, as she fled she stumbled over a loose floor in the corridor. She hit the floor hard, making it hard to get up and be able to continue her escape. Fortunately, there was no sign of zombies in her pursuit, where that was a certain sign of relief.

The girl was trying to recover from the fall, and in the midst of recovery she heard the sound of footsteps coming from her left side. However, the sound of these footsteps was caused by a metal object touching the hospital vinyl floor. Precisely, metal boots like that of a medieval knight. It couldn't be zombies where there isn't one that uses such shoes, but it could also be a highly dangerous one to trust. For Paige, it was better to get away as much as possible. And to her surprise, she hears the sound of a female voice coming from that person in metallic boots.

Hello! There is someone here?! I am here to help.” called that person.

Paige was amazed. She called for someone who was alive on this floor, even if she intended to help. But given that moment with the robber, it could be another armed person, using it as a form of lie – hoping to deceive her and dispatch her life.

That person called again for survivors. And since there are no other options, she decided to check it out.

“Hi! There's someone here who needs help!” called Paige.

The answer has been answered. And when that person came to help her, Paige was surprised to see her. It was a young girl about the same age as her. She had blond hair, silver eyes, and slightly white skin. Her uniform consisted of a fiber shirt, cape, and trousers, and a few pieces of armor, such as a pair of shoulder pads, bracelets, boots, a kind of metal case on her back to which the cape is attached; a metal buckle on the back. front of her neck and several plates around her waist. And in her right hand was a long, heavy sword.

Although her gaze was somewhat surprised, the silver-eyed warrior approached Paige to help her.

“Are you alright? Let me help you.” she asked, reaching out to help Paige.

“I… yeah, I'm fine. Yes, I accept your help.” Paige answered by accepting the other's help.

The young survivor was looking at the sword warrior. How could a young girl carry something as heavy as a sword that requires two-handed handling? Who is she? Where did she come from and how did she get here?

Faced with these questions, Paige asked them again.

“Excuse me…” she called.

That call caught the attention of the big sword girl.

“… who are you?”

“I am Priscilla. I am the new warrior of the Organization who has received the symbol and the rank Number 2.” answered the girl named Priscilla.

“Number 2? Do you serve any kind of special forces?” Paige asked.

“I have no idea what you're talking about, but I imagine it's related to the role we play.”

“Right.”

“And you? What's your name?”

“Paige.”

“It's a pleasure to meet you, Paige.” greeted Priscilla.

“Glad to meet you too, Priscilla.”

Young Priscilla walked to a corner of the room with her sword in her hand. Paige accompanied her to where they were going.

“Are there any other survivors around here?” Priscilla asked as she searched the other corners of this floor.

That question reminded Paige of that robber who dragged her into the kitchen and was later attacked by the zombies. And since there was no one else she knew or found alive in this hospital, she said no.

“No.”

“Not on the other floors of this hospital?”

“No. There was no one else I could find.”

“I understand. Apparently, it's both of us in this place.”

Hearing that, Paige imagined this hospital was deserted. No one but them. And as the zombie apocalypse took over the place, Paige and Priscilla needed to find a way to survive in this unknown world. The hallways and halls remained ruined. Broken windows, blinking lamps, scratched walls, broken floor and ceiling.

As they walked some more, Paige paused for a moment to rest. All the running to escape the zombies made her a little exhausted. Realizing that her colleague was no longer following her footsteps, Priscilla decided to attend her in order to be close to her in case of any imminent danger.

“Paige, are you okay?” she asked her protege.

“I'm just a little tired. Running around this hospital wasn't easy at all. Especially when it is full of zombies and I barely woke up from surgery.”

“Surgery?”

Paige opened a portion of her gown to show the bandage on her chest to Priscilla. In her eyes, the band remained firm on her body, with few bloodstains.

“What happened to you?” Priscilla asked as she looked at the bandage and then at the girl.

“I… I don't remember for sure. I remember being in some turmoil and out of nowhere, I felt something pierce my chest. A bullet.”

“A bullet?”

“It's a gun projectile. I imagine you are from a world with swords, spears and arrows.”

“As for what you said, it would make sense since I don't know that kind of weapon you're talking about.”

“Priscilla, something I cannot understand. How did you get here?”

“Me? It's a long complicated story.”

“Complicated? What do you mean?”

“I was on a Yoma containment mission when I…” interrupted when Paige turned her head back.

“Did you… did you hear that?!” asked the frightened young girl.

Priscilla was advancing one step beside Paige. With their eyes fixed on where they had come, they see the shadows gaining shape and size as they approach their position. To their astonishment, the zombies arrived in medium-sized hordes, around twenty-five to thirty-four. For those who had no means of facing them would be the perfect way to meet death.

The warrior drew her sword as she stepped between Paige and the horde.

“Priscilla, there are too many of them!”

“Don't worry about me, Paige. I will protect you no matter the odds.”

It was at this moment that she advanced on them with her sword and tore their bodies. Paige was amazed to see Priscilla's combat speed. In a second she would be behind a zombie, raising her sword from the groin to its head, then “disappear”. And in the next second, she would be next to the other zombie, tearing its head in line with its eyes.

Then Paige turned her gaze to her left, and to her fear another small horde of zombies came from the ground floor and the underground parking lot.

“Priscilla!” Paige called scared.

When she heard her voice, Priscilla was startled by the new horde. And at the end of the first wave, she ran with all her might toward them. And again, she swung her sword at them, slamming them into their bodies.

Paige watched that heroic scene of her new guardian and escort facing the zombies. Pieces of their limbs and bodies were torn apart by Claymore's heavy sword, blood painted the floor and walls red, and only the two girls were the only things standing in that terrifying place.

In one move, three zombies were beheaded by Priscilla's sword as that horde succumbed to the warrior's incredible strength, agility, and combat technique. Others were crushed and slaughtered in a frightening way. And with the last zombie torn apart in two, what Paige could see was a red corridor full of broken and ruined flesh, and in the middle of that was that silver-eyed blond girl in her triumphant stance, carrying a bloody sword and parts of her uniform stained with blood.

Amazing. I… I had never seen anyone as good as her.” Paige thought, still looking at Priscilla.

The young warrior swung her sword toward the bodies to draw the remaining blood from the blade. Then she kept it in the carrier on her back. Resuming her gaze on Paige, Priscilla approached her to make sure she was all right.

“Paige, are you alright?” she asked.

“I… I am alright. Thank you Priscilla.” replied Paige, smiling at the other's courage.

“Glad to know. Come on, let's get out of here.”

Priscilla helped Paige to her feet and they both headed toward the hospital exit. They wasted no time when the hordes in this place were held back by an unbeatable force that the warrior had to protect her ally. And when they arrived at the reception downstairs, the doors were open for Paige and Priscilla to cross and venture into the unknown.

As much as the world has changed due to the zombie apocalypse and whatever survivors are scattered into smaller or larger groups, the two girls are determined to face the obstacles that come their way for survival. For they are the two survivors, and they will fight side by side until they find shelter.
